- 6 slices chopped bacon
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 chopped green pepper
- 1 can lima beans
- 1 can whole kernel corn
- 1 can tomatoes, chopped
- 1 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- dash of pepper
Directions

1In large skillet, brown bacon lightly.

2Spoon off all but 2 tablespoons drippings from skillet; add onion and green pepper. Cook 5 minutes.

3Add lima beans, corn, tomatoes, salt, sugar, pepper and butter and heat to boiling.

4Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 5 to 10 minutes, until vegetables are tender.

5In cup, blend flour with 2 tablespoons water; stir into mixture and cook, stirring constantly until thickened.
