- 8 slices bacon
- 1 medium onion
- 3 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 1/4 c. milk
- 1 can cream-style corn
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- black pepper to taste
Directions

1Fry bacon in a Dutch oven until crisp.

2Remove bacon and reserve 3 tablespoons drippings in Dutch oven.

3Crumble bacon and set aside.

4Saute onion in reserved drippings until tender, then add potatoes and water.

5Cover and simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until potatoes are done.

6Stir in milk, corn, salt and pepper. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently.

7Sprinkle each serving with crumbled bacon.
