Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/3 c. cream
- 2 c. plain flour, sifted
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Mix together all dry ingredients.

2Cut in butter or margarine. Beat eggs (save a little of the white to spread on top of dough) and add to mixture.

3Toss on a lightly floured board and roll to about 3/4-inch thickness.

4Use a floured biscuit cutter to cut biscuits.

5Place on a lightly greased cookie sheet and brush tops with egg white and sprinkle lightly with sugar.

6Bake for 15 minutes at 450°.
