  • 1 egg, beaten
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 c. molasses
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 c. raisins
  • 1/2 c. nuts
  • 1 3/4 c. flour
  • Sauce (recipe follows)

Directions

    Mix all ingredients and pour in greased coffee can.

    Steam 2 1/2 hours.

    Makes 8 to 10 slices.

    Serve hot with the Sauce.
