- 3 tbsp. margarine, softened
- 2/3 cup sugr
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1-1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
Directions

1Cream softened margarine; gradually add 2/3 cup sugar, beating at medium speed of an electric mixer until well blended.

2Add egg and lemon juice; beat well.

3Combine flour, baking soda, and nutmeg; gradually add to creamed mixture, beating well.

4Shape dough into 26 balls; roll in remaining 2 tablespoons sugar.

5Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets, and pat each portion into a 2-inch circle.

6Bake at 375F for 9 minutes.

7Cool on wire racks.
