  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 c. vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 c. plus 4 heaping Tbsp. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. cream of tartar

Directions

    Cream sugars, oleo and butter until light and fluffy.

    Sift together dry ingredients; add to mixture and mix well.

    Roll into balls on ungreased cookie sheet.

    Press down cookies with a glass dipped in sugar.

    Bake at 375° for 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
