  • 1 1/4 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 Tbsp. orange juice
  • grated rind of 1 orange (optional)

Directions

    Cream sugar and Crisco together.

    Add well beaten eggs and mix well.

    Mix and sift flour, salt and baking powder and add to the first mixture.

    Add orange juice and orange rind and mix to a smooth dough.

    Chill.
