  • 1 c. oil (Crisco)
  • 1 c. sugar (white)
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 c. powdered sugar (10x)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 5 1/4 c. sifted flour
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

    Cream margarine, oil and white sugar.

    Add vanilla into eggs. Add this to first mixture, then sift flour, soda, cream of tartar, 10x sugar and salt.

    Add with all the other ingredients.

    Roll in small balls, then in some white sugar.
  5. 5
    Press down with fork.

    Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 350°.
