  • 1/2 c. margarine and lard to make 3/4 c. (can use all margarine)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 2 tsp. baking powder

    Mix all ingredients together well.

    Drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet.

    Bake for 6 to 8 minutes in upper half of oven at 400°.
