  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • dash of nutmeg
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Sift dry ingredients together.

    Cream sugar and shortening. Add vanilla and eggs; beat well.

    Add sour milk; blend in dry ingredients.

    Bake at 365° for about 10 minutes on greased cookie sheet.
