- 3 1/2 c. flour
- 1 egg
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. margarine, melted
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1/3 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
Directions

1Melt margarine in Pyrex bowl in microwave, just to liquid stage.

2Add sugar; mix.

3Add egg; mix.

4Add milk and vanilla; mix. Gradually add dry ingredients.

5Mix thoroughly.

6Cover lightly and refrigerate one hour at least.

7Can make ahead.

8Store tightly in refrigerator up to one week.

9When ready to bake, divide dough to roll out on floured cutting board or surface into 1/8 to 1/4 inch thickness, using cookie cutters.

10Bake at 350° for 8 to 10 minutes. Overbaking will cause browning on edges.

11Cool on racks.
