  • 6 apples, pared and sliced or cubed
  • 1 double pie crust
  • 1 small can unsweetened frozen apple juice
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 2 tsp. cornstarch

Directions

    Layer apple slices in pie shell.

    Mix apple juice, cinnamon, nutmeg and cornstarch in saucepan; cook on low heat until thickens. Pour over apples.

    Place second pie shell on top, lightly butter on top of shell.

    Bake at 350° for 60 minutes.

    Makes one double crust pie.
