- 1 c. dates, pitted
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 1/2 c. prunes, pitted
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt, allspice and cinnamon
- 1/2 c. nuts (preferably walnuts)
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 to 2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Boil together dates, raisins, prunes and 1 cup water.

2When done, add margarine and vanilla; cool.

3Beat the eggs.

4Add cooled fruit mixture and the rest of the ingredients.

5Pour into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

6Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes. (Real good for diabetics.)
