- 2 c. light brown sugar, packed
- 1 c. white sugar
- 1 c. sour cream
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. walnuts
- 2 c. pecans
Directions

1Combine both sugars and sour cream in a large saucepan.

2Cook over medium heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved.

3Continue cooking without stirring to 238° on a candy thermometer.

4Remove from heat.

5Add vanilla and nuts.

6Stir gently until all nuts are coated.

7Turn onto waxed paper.

8With a fork separate the nuts. Let dry.

9Makes about 2 pounds.
