- 2 egg whites
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 lb. (4 c.) pecans, coarsely chopped
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
Directions

1Beat egg whites until foamy.

2Gradually add sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time, beating until stiff peaks form.

3Fold in pecans.

4Pour butter into a 15 x 10 x 1-inch jelly roll pan. Spread pecan mixture over butter.

5Bake at 325° for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.

6Cool and store in an airtight container.

7Yields 4 cups.
