Sugared Pecans

  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tsp. water
  • 1 lb. halved pecans (4 c.)
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Directions

    Beat egg white and water until frothy. Add pecans.

    Mix together sugar, salt and cinnamon. Add pecans and mix until nuts are coated.

    Place on foil-lined jelly-roll pan and bake 1 hour at 235°.

    Stir every 15 minutes.

    Add salt to taste.

    Cool completely.

    Store in airtight container.
