Sugared Pecans

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Pecans (or Other Nut)
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cups Water
  • 1/2 teaspoons Maple Flavoring

Directions

    Preheat oven to 200F

    Combine all ingredients in skillet on stove top. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to medium. Continue flipping nuts over and over with a turner so as not to break them.

    Continue this until all the water is gone and the nuts are coated. Sometimes it takes 15 minutes. Spread on a buttered cookie sheet and dry in oven on 200 for 15-30 minutes.
