  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 cups pecans, coarsely chopped or 1 lb pecans
  • 12 cup butter, melted

    Beat egg whites until foamy.

    Gradually add sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time, beating till stiff peaks form.

    Fold in pecans.

    Pour butter into a 15 x 10 x 1-inch jellyroll pan.

    Spread pecan mixture over butter.

    Bake at 325 degrees for 30 min, stirring every 10 minute Cool and store in an airtight container.
