- 6 medium Delicious apples
- 1 (6 oz.) can frozen apple juice, thawed
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- pie crust for double crust pie
Directions

1Peel and slice apples.

2Place in a large pan with undiluted apple juice. Boil, reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 5 minutes. Dissolve cornstarch in a small amount of water and stir into apple mixture. Boil, reduce heat and simmer, covered, 5 minutes. Add cinnamon. Fill pastry and dot with 3 tablespoons of butter. Put on top crust and prick top of crust.

3Cook for 45 minutes at 350°.
