  • 3/4 tsp. salt

  • 1 1/4 c. sour milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. lard

    Cream together sugar and lard.

    Add milk and eggs alternately with sifted dry ingredients.

    Pour into 9 (9-inch) layer pans. Bake in a 375° oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
