  • 1 lb. round steak, teriyaki cut in thin strips
  • 2 Tbsp. salad oil
  • 1 1/2 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1 1/2 c. diagonally sliced celery
  • 1 c. green pepper, cut into squares
  • 1/2 green onion, chopped
  • 1 can beef broth
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/2 c. water

    In skillet, brown beef in oil.

    Add vegetables, soup and soy sauce.

    Cover and cook over low heat 20 minutes until meat is tender.

    Stir now and then; blend cornstarch and water; stir into mixture.

    Cook, stirring until thickened.

    Serve with cooked rice.
