- 1 c. sliced green onions
- 1 c. sliced celery
- 1 can bean sprouts
- 1/2 lb. sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 lb. thin-sliced or cubed chicken
- 2 bouillon cubes
- 2 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. molasses
- 1/8 tsp. each: ginger and cloves
- 1/2 tsp. powdered garlic
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 can sliced water chestnuts
Directions

1In a large pot, combine bouillon cubes and water.

2Heat until cubes dissolve.

3Add molasses, spices, oil and flour.

4Stir and heat until slightly thickened.

5Add remaining ingredients.

6Cook over fairly high heat, stirring, for 10 minutes.

7Serve.
