Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. tamari
  • 1 c. water
  • 3 minced scallions
  • 1 large clove garlic, sliced
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. honey
  • 1 to 2 Tbsp. sherry (optional)
  • 2 c. cubed, cooked chicken
  • 1 stalk celery
  • 1 large sliced carrot
  • 1 large chopped green pepper
  • 1/3 lb. green beans or 1 can beans, drained

Directions

    Combine first 7 ingredients in a saucepan.

    Bring to a boil, lower to simmer and cook 10 to 15 minutes. Add 1/2 pound bean sprouts or 1 can, drained. Serve over rice.
