Ingredients

  • 2 lb. fruit (such as peaches or nectarines, peeled if desired and sliced)
  • 2 to 3 Tbsp. sugar (depending on sweetness of fruit)
  • 2 Tbsp. orange juice
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1/3 c. flour
  • dash of salt
  • 1/2 tsp. powdered cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. powdered ginger (optional)

Directions

    Lightly grease a 9-inch pie pan.

    Mix fruit with sugar and juice.

    Spread in pan.

    Put remaining ingredients in a bowl.

    With hands, rub to crumbs.

    Sprinkle evenly on fruit.

    Bake at 375° for 20 or 25 minutes or until bubbly and slightly browned on top.
