- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. thinly sliced green onions
- 1/3 c. pine nuts or slivered almonds
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 3 c. cooked rice, cooked in chicken broth
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1/4 tsp. dried thyme leaves
Directions

1Heat butter in large skillet over medium-high heat.

2Add green onions, nuts and garlic; cook 3 to 5 minutes or until nuts are lightly browned.

3Add rice, salt, pepper and thyme; cook and stir 3 to 5 minutes or until ingredients are blended.

4Serve with kebabs. Makes 6 servings.
