Ingredients
- 1 (28 oz.) can plum tomatoes or crushed tomatoes
- 1 to 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 to 3 Tbsp. olive oil
- 6 chopped fresh basil leaves or 1 Tbsp. dried basil
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Combine all ingredients in a small deep bowl.

2Cover and leave at room temperature until ready to use.

3Cook your favorite pasta (either spaghetti, linguini or angel hair) al dente.

4Drain and pour some sauce on the bottom of a serving dish; place pasta over that.

5Sprinkle with Romano cheese and top with more sauce.
