  • 6 1/2 c. water
  • 3 1/4 c. white vinegar
  • 2/3 c. pickling salt
  • bud of garlic, crushed
  • 3 plus sprigs dill
  • 1 gal. jar
  • 50 (approximately) 4-inch pickles

Directions

    Put dill and garlic in the jar.

    Mix water, vinegar and salt well; pour over pickles until full in jar.

    Cover.

    Set in sun for 2 days.

    Store in refrigerator.
