  • 6 slices bread without crust
  • 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 lb. sausage, cooked
  • 1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 5 eggs, beaten
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

    Butter pan.

    Put bread slices in a 9 x 13-inch dish.

    Spread butter on top of bread.

    Sprinkle sausage and cheese on top of bread.

    Beat eggs, milk and salt together.

    Pour on top of bread and sausage/cheese layers.

    Place in refrigerator overnight. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 45 minutes.
