- 3 to 4 lb. roast
- 1 lb. pinto beans, soaked
- 1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes
- 1 small can tomato sauce
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 to 4 tsp. chili powder
- salt and pepper
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
Directions

1Layer with beans, roast, onion and seasonings and then pour tomato sauce on top.

2Cover with water to 2 1/2 inches from the top of the roaster pan.

3Bake at 250° for 12 hours in oven.

4This may be cooked in a slow cooker.

5Cook on low for approximately 12 to 18 hours.

6Add a salad and bread and you have Sunday dinner.
