- 2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. lard
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 7 c. flour
Directions

1Scald the 2 cups of milk.

2Add sugar, lard and salt.

3Let cool to lukewarm.

4Add the yeast, dissolved in the 1/2 cup of warm water.

5Add flour and stir good.

6Place in greased bowl; cover and let rise to double in bulk, about 1 1/2 hours.

7Place dough on floured surface.

8Knead and make into biscuits.
-
9Place in greased pans and let rise again about 1 hour.

10Bake at 350° for about 25 minutes.

11Enough to feed your Sunday company.
