  • 2 lb. ripe Bartlett pears
  • 1 c. canned, crushed pineapple
  • 3/4 c. drained maraschino cherries
  • 7 1/2 c. sugar
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 6 oz. Certo
  • wax (for topping jars)

Directions

    Wash, peel and core pears.

    Chop very fine or crush.

    Place in preserving kettle.

    Add drained pineapple, chopped cherries, the sugar and the lemon juice.

    Mix well.
