  • 12 long fresh okras
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 cup corn meal
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp tony chachere's original Creole seasoning
  • 1 cup vegetable oil

    clean okra, cut into pieces about half inch,

    need 3 bowls, 1 for corn meal and add seasonings.mix well

    1 bowl for flour, 1 bowl for egg and milk mix well

    now heat oil in medium frying pan.on medium heat .

    you are starting with putting okra in the flour, then egg mixture, then the cornmeal mixtuer.

    drop a little cornmeal into pan, if it starts frying it's ready.add okra to oil and fry untill light golden color, then ready, place fried okra on papertowel

    eat when hot or warm.
