  • 1 section Lotus root
  • 100 ml Vinegar
  • 3 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 dash Red chili pepper sliced into thin rounds (optional)

Directions

    Peel the skin off the lotus root, slice thinly, then soak in vinegar water (with 1 tablespoon of vinegar).

    Boil water in a pot, add 1 tablespoon vinegar, then parboil the lotus root.

    Add the ingredients, soak the lotus root slices, then it's done.

    Add red chili pepper to taste.
