Super Hamburger Soup

Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean hamburger
- 1/2 c. cubed raw potatoes
- 2/3 c. diced celery
- 8 oz. can tomato sauce
- 2 tsp. salt
- dash of cayenne pepper
- 1/2 c. frozen peas
- 1 c. diced onions
- 1 c. sliced carrots
- 1 c. shredded cabbage
- 1/4 c. raw rice
- 1/2 tsp. thyme
- 2 beef bouillon cubes
- 1 1/2 qt. water
Directions

1Brown hamburger and onion in soup pot.

2Drain off all fat. Add potatoes, carrots, celery, cabbage and tomato sauce.

3Bring to a boil.

4Add rice and other ingredients except peas.

5Cover and simmer 50 minutes.

6Add peas and cook another 5 to 10 minutes. Put in bowls and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

7Makes 6 servings, 200 calories each.
