- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. dark corn syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
- 3 large eggs, beaten
- 6 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
- 1 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Beat sugar into eggs in a medium bowl; beat in corn syrup, butter and vanilla.

2Stir in pecans; pour into pie shell.

3Bake in a preheated 350° oven until when a knife inserted midway between center and edge is withdrawn clean, 45 to 60 minutes.

4Cool completely on a wire rack.
