  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. dark corn syrup
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
  • 3 large eggs, beaten
  • 6 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Directions

    Beat sugar into eggs in a medium bowl; beat in corn syrup, butter and vanilla.

    Stir in pecans; pour into pie shell.

    Bake in a preheated 350° oven until when a knife inserted midway between center and edge is withdrawn clean, 45 to 60 minutes.

    Cool completely on a wire rack.
