  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 1 small cabbage, shredded
  • 3 medium carrots, sliced thin
  • 2 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 c. uncooked rice
  • 1 (14 oz.) can beef broth

    Brown ground beef and onions in frying pan.

    Combine all ingredients in a casserole dish.

    Cover and bake at 350° for about 1 hour and 15 minutes, until rice is done.
