  • 6 to 8 cube steaks
  • 1 pkg. dry onion soup
  • 4 oz. mushrooms
  • sliced onion
  • 1 can beef gravy
  • 1 can water

Directions

    Flour cube steak; brown in small amount of shortening. Place in pan; sprinkle with onion soup. Put drained mushrooms on. Cover with sliced onion. Mix beef gravy with water and pour over onions; do not stir. Cover with foil. Bake in 8 x 13-inch pan at 250° for 3 to 4 hours.
