- 1/3 c. plus 1 Tbsp. firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. honey
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 3/4 c. chopped pecans
- 1 (15 oz.) pkg. corn bread mix
Directions

1Combine sugar, honey and butter in a small saucepan, stirring occasionally, over low heat until it boils and sugar is dissolved. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon nuts into each of 12 average-sized corn stick forms.

2Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the hot syrup over the nuts.

3Prepare corn bread mix, according to package directions. Pour into corn stick forms.

4Bake 25 minutes at 450° until lightly browned.

5Immediately invert onto serving platter and serve hot.
