   Preheat oven to 375°.

   Cream butter, sugar and vanilla in large bowl.

   Add flour and nuts; blend well.

   Shape about 1 tablespoon of dough around each candy, covering it completely. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake 7 to 10 minutes, or until set but not brown. Cool and roll in confectioners sugar.
