  • 4 eggs
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. melted margarine
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. almond extract

Directions

    Beat eggs until light.

    Add sugar, a little at a time, beating well.

    Fold in melted margarine, salt, flour and extract.

    Spread into 11 x 15-inch greased and floured pan.

    Sprinkle additional sugar on top, then sliced almonds on top of sugar.

    Bake in 325° oven 30 minutes.

    Don't bake until brown.

    Cool.

    Cut into bars or squares.
