- 4 c. pecan halves
- 2 egg whites
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 stick butter
Directions

1Put nuts on large cookie sheet (with sides).

2Warm 10 minutes in 325° oven.

3Beat egg whites until frothy.

4Add sugar and salt gradually.

5Beat until stiff.

6Pour nuts into egg white mix until coated.

7Melt butter in same cookie sheet.

8Put nuts on melted butter.

9Place in 325° oven for 30 minutes.

10Stir every 10 minutes to prevent sticking together.
