- 1 1/2 c. blanched almonds
- 2 c. walnut halves or 1 c. walnuts
- 1 c. pecans
- 1 c. sugar
- dash of salt
- 2 stiffly beaten egg whites
- 1/2 c. butter
Directions

1Toast nuts on a flat pan with sides at 325° until slightly browned.

2Fold sugar and salt into beaten egg whites.

3Beat until mixture forms stiff peaks.

4Fold nuts into mixture.

5Melt butter in oven in same pan used for browning nuts.

6Spread nuts and egg mixture over butter.

7Bake at 325° for 30 minutes.

8Stir every 10 minutes.

9Be careful they don't burn.
