  • 1 lb. pecans
  • 1 lb. almonds
  • 4 egg whites, whipped until stiff
  • 2 c. sugar
  • pinch of salt

Directions

    Coat nuts in mixture of other ingredients.

    Melt 1 stick of butter in cookie sheet.
  3. 3
    Spread nuts in pan and bake at 350° for about 45 minutes or until butter is absorbed.

    Turn every 15 minutes.
