Swedish Orange Cake

  • 1/2 c. butter or oleo
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 2 c. flour, sift first
  • 1 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1 c. sour milk (add alternately with flour)
  • 1 c. raisins
  • 1 orange peel (grind with raisins)

Directions

    Bake in moderate oven (350°).

    When done, remove from oven and take 1/2 cup powdered sugar and the juice of one orange.

    Mix well and slowly pour over cake after removing from oven.
