  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 eggs
  • dash of nutmeg
  • 4 Tbsp. margarine
  • sifted powdered sugar
  • fresh or frozen fruit (strawberries, peaches, etc.)
  • whipped cream

Directions

    Mix first four ingredients until batter is lumpy.

    Melt margarine and add to batter.

    Bake in buttered baking dish at 425° for 15 minutes.

    Remove and sprinkle with powdered sugar.

    Bake another 2 to 3 minutes.

    Serve hot, covered with fruit and whipped cream.

    For baking dish, a pie plate works well or two smaller dishes.
