Ingredients
- 3 to 4 lb. beef armor blade pot roast
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. mixed dried fruit
- cornstarch
- 1 c. orange juice
Directions

1Combine flour, salt, pepper and ginger.

2Dredge meat in seasoned flour.

3Brown pot roast in oil.

4Pour off excess drippings.

5Add cinnamon stick and water.

6Arrange dried fruit on pot roast.

7Cover and cook slowly for 2 1/2 to 3 hours or until meat is tender.

8Add orange juice and cook slow for 15 minutes. Discard the cinnamon stick.

9Remove meat to heated platter. Thicken fruit and liquid mixture with cornstarch for gravy.
