  • 2 c. cooked rice
  • 4 eggs, well beaten
  • 4 c. milk, heated
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

    Beat eggs.

    Add cooled milk.

    Mix well.

    Add rest of ingredients. Pour into buttered 9 x 9-inch baking dish.

    Set dish in pan of hot water in oven.

    Bake in slow oven for 1 hour at 325°.

    Take out and sprinkle with nutmeg.
