- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 2 c. rye flour
- 1/2 c. dark molasses
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1/3 c. oil
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. boiling water
- 6 to 6 1/2 c. bread flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water.

2Place in mixer and using a dough hook, add the remaining ingredients.

3Turn out on floured board and knead for 10 minutes.

4Shape into loaves, brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with salt.

5Bake at 375° for 30 to 35 minutes.
