- 10 each: Cortland, Golden Delicious or McIntosh apples, peeled, cored and sliced (11 c.)
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 1/2 ??? butter, melted
- cinnamon
Directions

1Place sliced apples in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

2Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.

3Cut in egg with pastry blender until crumbly.

4Sprinkle mixture over apples.

5Pour melted butter over top, then sprinkle lightly with cinnamon.

6Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
