- 35 saltine crackers, enough to cover a cookie sheet
- 12 cup brown sugar
- 12 cup butter
- 1 (16 ounce) bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
- walnuts, Peanuts, Cashews, toffee, whatever you have on hand
Directions

1Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

2Line a cookie sheet with tin foil.

3Do not leave any bare spots, or cleanup will not be fun.

4Lay crackers flat in cookie sheet.

5In a medium sauce pot, melt butter and brown sugar together.

6Stir often.

7When it looks like a sauce:.

8Carefully pour over the crackers.

9Bake the crackers for 7 min, watching them carefully to be sure they do not get burned.

10Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips.

11After about 5 min, spread the chips evenly over the crackers.

12Sprinkle with the chopped nuts.

13Allow them to cool, then break into pieces.
